Otago Show Plenty Of Spirit Against Taranaki

The Otago team was down 2 tries in the first 10 minutes to Taranaki atCarisbrook tonight and the team could not recover this deficient over the next 70 minutes.  Tries to Beauden Barrett and Craig Clarke took the wind out of the Otago team in the first half.  The second half saw the Otago team turn the tables with two early tries to forwards Halani Aulika and Hoani Matenga closing the margin to 10 points, however this is all the team could muster and the final score was 25 – 15 to the visitors.
