Another South Otago product, Tony Ensor heads into the 2013 ITM Cup following a relatively quick rise through the ranks. Initially selected for Otago in 2012 due to injuries within the squad, Ensor went on to play every match that year as well as picking up 6 tries for his province.
After a successful debut season for Otago, Ensor was then selected for the Highlanders 2013 wider training squad, where he would get to learn from the experience of fellow Otago and All Blacks fullback Ben Smith.
