It has been awesome to watch Sio grow and mature as a professional rugby player over the years. He is a proud product of the local system starting from St Bernadettes, to Kavanagh College to Otago Boys High to Harbour RFC to then securing an Otago contract at just 19-years old is a real accomplishment.

He is known for being a tough and uncompromising midfield back. He has a strong work ethic and puts 100% into all of his rugby commitments. He's a good team man and we thank him for his loyalty to Otago Rugby as his one and only Provincial Union.

We are excited for his next opportunity overseas at the Dragons in Wales, and we look forward to seeing what kind of kiwi magic he will showcase on the UK stage, good luck Sio!
